Frank Body Coffee Scrub review

I originally come across Frank Body on Instagram over at @FrankBod I then went onto their website to read about the coffee based skin care..

Frank Body say “I’m an Australian made coffee-based skincare range that targets cellulite, stretch marks and other skin conditions to leave your skin feeling soft and supple”

Amazing right? There was so much to choose from on their website over at https://uk.frankbody.com from coffee body scrubs; body balms, creamy face scrubs, creamy face cleanser and a everyday moisturiser that all cater to different skin types. I went for the 200g original coffee body scrub for £11.95, which is a natural exfoliator. It says on their website that the special blend of ingredients will scrub away dry, flakey skin and target pesky skin conditions like cellulite and stretch marks. They key ingredients in the original scrub are posted and ground Robusta coffee beans; cold pressed sweet almond oil, vitamin e and sea salt.

It was delivered faster than I expected, if you’re in the Uk its takes between 2-5 working days with no postage charge, which is always a nice bonus! It was packaged very well with a pretty waterproof envelope I’ve posted a picture below. Then inside there is you’re frank body coffee scrub in a resealable package so you can use it as many times as you like and then reseal to keep it fresh. You also get a small info book that tells you ingredients; benefits and guild lines on how to use your scrub. It says use the scrub by doing circular massage motions focusing on problem areas and for best results leave your scrub to dry for 5-10 minutes. Before you use any new cosmetic products it’s always good to do a test piece first on a small area of your skin to make sure you have no irritation.

I decided to do a facial exfoliate first, so I removed all make up made sure my face was clean and then rinsed my face with some lukewarm water using the warm water will open your pores ready for your skin to suck in the goodness from the Frank Body scrub. I used gentle circular motions to exfoliate away any dead skin or black heads, I left the scrub on for 10+ minutes to dry and soak into my face. Then I rinsed it of and made sure I used a gentle moisturiser to close my pores. I instantly felt and smelt the affects of the scrub after rinsing I can honestly say my skin has NEVER felt so soft from any exfoliator before, I must say as well its great to use in the morning if you’re going to have a no make up day it leaves your skin soo soft and looking super smooth, just add a little tinted moisturiser on top and da da skin ready! Now I’ve found the perfect exfoliator for me I will be sticking to a routine of using the Frank Body scrub at least twice a week to exfoliate my skin!!IMG_5204I’m already looking at what to order next, I’m thinking to go for either the lip scrub and lip balm duo or the creamy face cleanser maybe even both.. I would definitely recommend for you to give the Frank Body scrub a go I can not express enough how lovely and soft my skin felt! I love this product because its natural with no nasty’s in, its at a very affordable price, it does what it says on the packaging and it leaves my skin SO SO soft!

It’s a must try and a must have head over to Frank Body’s website and check them out –

This sounds lovely! I’ve tried a coffee scrub before from LUSH & found it to be too abrasive for my skin, but this looks like it’s more of a fine scrub. Lovely review Gabby!

I don’t have sensitive skin but I have had that in the past with scrubs being to abrasive, I didn’t find this with Frank Body you can be as gentle or firm with the exfoliating as you please. It really does leave your skin super soft!
      Thank you Lucie

Thanks for your love Gabriella. I had fun on our date. For any sensitive skinned babes, they can try my Coconut Coffee Scrub or my Creamy Face Scrub. They are a tad gentler than my other scrubs. xx frank
